Our Clinic helps hard-working, uninsured East Texans receive affordable healthcare. We are a 501c3 nonprofit that accepts $0 in state or federal funding. We are 100% community supported and thrive from the generosity of medical volunteers, churches, individuals and businesses. The clinic serves low-income, working, uninsured East Texans. We give our patients a primary medical home. Without our clinic, they would be forced to seek care at the emergency room or choose between feeding their families and going to the doctor.

Job Description
We are seeking a primary medical officer of the clinic. The position is responsible for maintaining good protocols and procedures so the highest quality of care can be given to the patient. Also this officer will serve as the main public medical official for the clinic to continue our mission in three Key Performance Areas:
Assure excellent overall quality of the patient care is provided to the patients while maintaining as many patients are seen as possible
Recruitment and proper oversight of all of the medical personnel
Maintaining a good overall clinic relationship with the local medical and hospital providers
Job Qualifications Education, Skills, and Experience
Graduate of an accredited US medical school and residency program
Active license to practice in the state of Texas and in good standing with the Texas Board of Medical Examiners
Specialty Certification in Family Practice or Internal Medicine
Excellent interpersonal skills, great communication and management skills.
Responsible and organized individual.
Ability to do research and good writing skills.
Intermediate knowledge of and experience utilizing a personal computer; intermediate word processing skills required and comfort using an electronic medical records system
