Medical Assistant

Overview

We are a community health ministry whose purpose is to demonstrate the love of Christ in word and deed by providing health education and promotion, medical services and community advocacy in an urban city in East Tennessee, in order to transform the health of our community, body, and soul.

Mission & Passions

It is our mission to demonstrate the love of Christ by using our gifts and resources to serve children and families in our community. To do this, we have hired staff who love the Lord and seek to serve him and each other as well as those in our community. The clinic provides high-value compassionate care by Christians that are empowered by and reflect the generous grace and love of our triune God. As an employer, the clinic provides paid work, training and employment benefits that allow staff to use their God-given talents to serve the holistic needs of all the children we see, 87% of whom are uninsured and underserved. We seek to create an environment in which the staff cares for one another as we care for our patients, demonstrating the love of Jesus amongst ourselves as well as outwardly to those we serve.
