Overview

We are a Christian ministry of health care located in western Pennsylvania to provide whole person health care (body, mind and spirit).  We are a Federally Qualified Health Center with multiple providers delivering medical and dental care in our three locations.  Approximately 40,000 encounters are provided per year for 9,000 patients.  Services provided include:  adult and pediatric primary care; asthma, diabetes and blood pressure control programs; dental care; drug and alcohol outreach; homebound elderly outreach; homeless outreach; obstetric/gynecology services; pastoral care; psychology and counseling services.

Job Description

The Chief Executive Officer reports to the Board of Directors and is responsible for all aspects of operations and ensures the accomplishment of strategic and business plans, promotes the provision of cost-effective, high-quality health care services within the context of the Mission. 

Qualifications

We are seeking a person who is called to support the Mission and "witness to God's love known in Jesus Christ" as a core motivating value.  The Chief Executive Officer represents the clinic at public and professional meetings and with all governmental bodies, is responsible for all fundraising activities through supervision of the development office, and supports the Board in the development and implementation of strategic plans.

  •  Candidates should have demonstrated experience in health care administration and, particularly, experience with federal programs for under-insured and uninsured. 

  • Prior experience with federally qualified health centers is desired. 

  • A post-baccalaureate degree and experience with faith-based, non-profit organizations are preferred. 

  • Candidates should demonstrate knowledge and experience in the areas of grant management, financial management, medical billing systems, proposal writing and personnel management.
