Job Title - Chief Operations Officer
Job Description·
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Chief Operations Officer (COO) is responsible for leading, directing, and overseeing the operations of the health center by supporting continuous improvement of clinical operations, provider workflow, patient satisfaction, and quality and efficiency of the services.
JOB Qualifications Education, Skills, & Experience
Clinical degree required; healthcare administration or related field, Master’s Degree preferred
Experience as a COO is strongly preferred.
A minimum of five years’ experience in non-profit healthcare management is required with three years of experience at the Director of Officer level of an FQHC preferred.
Demonstrated success in development/fundraising and revenue generation-diversification preferred.
Experience serving on or working for a board of directors; experience with not-for-profit boards a plus
Skilled at recognizing and creating opportunities and leveraging resources
Experience working with individuals and groups from diverse racial, cultural, linguistic and socioeconomic backgrounds
Track record of developing and cultivating strong, effective collaborations and partnerships with external organizations
Knowledge of the principles of practice and compliance in Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) is highly desirable.
Chinese verbal language (Cantonese or Mandarin) capacity is strongly preferred.
